The 25th Annual INTEGRIS Health Gala was held on Friday, September 20 at the Omni Oklahoma City Hotel. With approximately 750 health care advocates in attendance, more than $725,000 were raised to benefit the future of cancer care in Oklahoma.
With these generous contributions, the INTEGRIS Health Cancer Institute will begin rolling out a cutting-edge Theranostics program over the next year. This new approach to cancer treatment allows for effective treatment without the intense side effects of traditional chemotherapy.
More than 20,000 Oklahomans are affected by cancer each year, and INTEGRIS Health treats roughly one-quarter of them. With this new treatment coming online, more Oklahomans will have access to the most advanced cancer care in the state.

About Our Gala
Every year, more than 700 passionate health care advocates throughout Oklahoma gather for our largest signature event. It’s a memorable evening of dinner, drinks and dancing to champion INTEGRIS Health programs.

Sponsorships and contributions to this year’s gala will support the launch of a Theranostics program at the INTEGRIS Health Cancer Institute. Theranostics is a highly targeted approach to both finding and treating cancer. Doctors use a special type of imaging to locate the cancer cells in the body and deliver treatment directly to those cancer cells.
It's like sending a guided missile that not only finds the cancer but also delivers the medicine right to it, sparing most of the healthy cells around it. This approach leads to more effective treatments with fewer side effects. It’s another example of the Cancer Institute’s commitment to providing the most cutting-edge cancer care in Oklahoma.
Each year at our gala, we create a special moment at the end of the program where all guests come together to fund a specific project – this is our Passion Challenge. This year’s Passion Challenge will directly support our cancer patients by providing complimentary access to services at the INTEGRIS Health Cancer Institute Troy and Dollie Smith Wellness Center.
The Wellness Center provides treatments for the whole person, not just the cancer. Services like integrative medicine, acupuncture, massage therapy and family and nutrition counseling help patients transform their lifestyle and mindset while on their healing journey. Providing these services free of charge offers every patient hope, peace and the opportunity to live life to the fullest – even on the most difficult journey of their life.

The 24th annual gala, held on September 22, 2023, welcomed over 700 caregivers, leaders and community partners to raise over $750,000 to benefit mental health initiatives across the INTEGRIS Health system.

We hosted our 23rd annual gala in support of the INTEGRIS Health Heart Hospital, raising more than $750,000 total for heart health across Oklahoma. 2022’s Passion Challenge raised funds for a Patient Assistance Fund for Cardiac Rehab.
